Great Cities have Great Midtowns

Major metropolitan centres such as Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, New York, Chicago and Boston possess secondary density nodes to the primary central business district.

For decades, Toronto's node was known as Yonge-Eglinton in reference to the names of the intersection of the two major arterials at its heart. This area has morphed into what is now known as Midtown Toronto. Midtown Manhattan is another prime example.
